Why do I need my battery part number?

For your convenience, we allow you to search for your laptop battery by part number as well as other
search options. Knowing your part number will both lower your search time and insure that you’re ordering
the correct battery.

What is a “part number”?

Every item in our inventory has a unique part number, or code, to identify the item and allow us to find it
quickly and efficiently without requiring additional information such as manufacturing machine, part size,
etc. If we can make it easy, we do it.

Where will I find my battery’s part number?

With your laptop connected to its AC adapter, turn the laptop upside down and unplug your battery. Then
you should easily see a sticker with the identifying part number.

Where can I find my laptop brand and model name?

Before ordering a laptop battery, it’s important to know your laptop’s brand and model number. But they
are not always easy to find. Here are two of the most common ways to learn your laptop brand and model
names:

First, look on the front cover of your owner’s manual. Or if your manual is not handy, the manufacturer’s
name is usually printed on the back side of the laptop screen. Then look for the model name below the LCD
display, on the bottom side of your laptop or above or below the keyboard.

If you have a Windows Operating System and still can’t find the brand and model name, follow these easy
directions:

At your desktop, click “Start” at the bottom left side of the screen. Move your Mouse over “Programs,”
“Accessories,” “System Tools.” Click on “System Information” and your laptop’s manufacturer, model,

How will I know my laptop battery needs replacing?

First know that, eventually, every rechargeable battery will need to be replaced. How soon your battery
will wear out depends mostly upon your usage, your care of the battery and the quality of the battery itself.

can get a replacement battery, if you prefer, but the 60-day full refund is guaranteed.

After 60-days of purchase, you still have up to 10 months to return your battery, if it’s defective in any
way. We can no longer issue a refund but we will replace the battery, absolutely free of charge, during that

Will my original manufacturer still honor my warranty if I use a compatible
battery?

A rousing yes! Compatible laptop batteries are now protected under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty
Improvement Act, which states that the original manufacturer cannot penalize you for not using an OEM
battery.

The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Improvement Act states:

“No warrantor of a consumer product may condition his written or implied warranty of such product on
the consumer's using, in connection with such product, any article or service (other than article or service
provided without charge under the terms of the warranty) which is identified by brand, trade or corporate
name; except that the prohibition of this subsection may be waived by the commission if:

The warrantor satisfies the Commission that the warranted product will function properly only if the
article or service so identified is used in connection with the warranted product, and The Commission
finds that such a waiver is in the public interest.”

Your battery is guaranteed to be shipped within 24-48 hours from the time you place your order. Orders
that are processed over the weekend or on federal holidays will be shipped the next business day. If you
order an item that is not currently in stock, you will receive an email as soon as the product is available and
it will ship within 24-72 hours.

Can I cancel an order once it is made?

Yes, you may cancel your order, either by calling us at our toll-free number (888-633-6855), Monday

the words “Cancel Order” on the subject line.

However, remember that we really do our best to ship every order within 24 hours, so if your order has
